Hengrave Hall, Suffolk
There is nothing more rewarding than being asked to be the florist for a wedding. They joy I feel knowing I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to the most special day of a happy couple’s life is hard to put into words, especially when I see the photographs of the big day.
Today, I’m sharing the beautiful wedding of Nick and Harriette. As always, I want to send my congratulations to the newlyweds and take the time to thank them for giving me the honour of helping contribute towards their celebration of love.
Every wedding is unique, with each couple having their own vision when it comes to the theme and aesthetics, and one the best aspects of my work is getting to chat with couples to find out what they want from their floral arrangements.
Some have a clear idea of what they need while others are open to suggestion, with my goal always being to help them find the perfect flowers for their dream wedding, and Nick and Harriette were hoping to achieve a timeless romantic theme exuding elegance.
Romantic Wedding Flowers
After much discussion we had found the perfect arrangements for their wedding, creating a classic floral décor using Hydrangeas, Peonies, Roses, Bridal Gladioli, Veronica with Eucalyptus.
Nick and Harriette’s wedding was held at Hengrave Hall, a stunning Tudor manor house in Suffolk, with the ceremony taking place inside the idyllic medieval Church of St John and the Lateran within the grounds of the manor.
The entrance of the church was adorned with a gorgeous floral arch of blooms and greenery – a beautiful arrangement for a beautiful couple!
Once the ceremony was finished it was time for the fun to begin with a big evening celebration. This was held in the courtyard of the manor, with the happy newlyweds celebrating the big day with all their closest friends and family.
As you can see from the photographs, everything looked so romantic and majestic! Harriette was stunning in her bridal gown, as did all her bridesmaids, and of course Nick looked every bit the handsome groom!
All the guests looked like they had a fantastic time celebrating the big day with Harriette and Nick, with all kinds of delicious food and drink being served. Of course, it wouldn’t be a wedding without plenty of fun and dancing, so it’s great to see that everyone had a wonderful time.
A perfect day for two beautiful people! xoxox
